Marriage looks like a good thing for Lamar Odom

Prior to the Wedding of Lamar Odom and Khloe Khardasian, how many non Laker fans knew of Lamar Odom?   Lamar is not a starter for the Lakers, but has recently been in the starting line up due to a hip injury to Anthony Bynum.  Yet,Odom has starring roles in Taco Bell and Powerbar commercials.    Usually national endorsements are offered to popular starters, who are household names.  Up until the marriage, Odom was neither. It looks like that Khardasian popularity is working out for Mr. Odom.

How many endorsements does Reggie Bush have?  Makes one think.

Kandi, Kim, Sheree, Nene and very little Lisa

This show is starting to get dull, because it is overwhelmingly phony! 

This week, Nene goes back to her hometown Athens, GA and while she narrates her story, her dialect changes, her enunciation of words become very deliberate.  Nene, her Uncle and ghost writer go to a house that Nene claims her Mother once owned.  Very nice home and it gives one the impression that Nene came from money, because Nene states this house would have been her Mother’s summer home.   Summer home in the Southeast?  Most people in the Northeast make their second home in the South their winter home to escape the harsh winters of the North.  Any who, the house according to Nene has been vacant for numerous years  and no one in the family wanted to change the house.  Nene and her crew stood outside of the house because she did not have a key!?  Why would someone leave a house vacant for numerous years and why doesn’t NeNe have the key or have access to the key to her Mother’s home?   Was this home her step fathers home and Nene’s mother lived in the house with him? 

Nene meets the man who states he is her Father.   Nothing but pleasantries were exchanged, no tears, hugs or embrace.  Just a handshake.  They agreed to talk later and he would answer any questions she had.

Kim was basically non eventful this week.  She met Sheree at FAB(place of the notorious fight) and the organized a surprise engagement party for Kandi.   She has Dwight J bring over a new wig and claims her wigs cost $800 per wig and she uses a new wig everyday!   At least she is trying to show some extravagant spending, but being wasteful is just dumb!   She organizes Kandi’s engagement party and it appears that only the Housewives and a few extras showed.  

Lisa ????  Showed up with Ed to Kandi’s engagement party and that was her role this week.  Dwight organizing Sheree’s Fashion show had more time the Lisa.

Now for Kandi.  It isn’t wierd seeing AJ on TV, but you have to wonder if her Mother has a since of relief since AJ is no longer in the picture.   Kandi, AJ and Kandi’s Mom (Joyce) went to counseling and Mom expresses her concern and protection of everything Kandi has worked hard to earn.  It also gets out that Kandi did not feel a prenup is necessary.   That just is not smart. 

Sheree continues to prepare for She for Sheree and her samples are delivered.  Sheree had all the samples made in her size,  not the average model size.   Sheree’s body is amazing and her samples (those that we saw) look much, much better then Closet Freak!   She also plans the non eventful engagement party for Kandi with Kim.  

The surprise engagement party was a surprise to Kandi and AJ.  Kandi’s Mother and Aunts also showed up to the engagement party.  Everyone was very polite, but the awkward of the moment is transparent through the television airwaves.  Well, AJ ask Kandi’s Mom to give a toast.  WTF??  AJ wanted to start something!   Mom stands there and pretty much says she hopes she is wrong and it all works out.

We need some new Housewives from the ATL!!!

Ashley “AJ” Jewel was laid to rest today exactly one week after he was involved in an altercation outside of an Atlanta Strip club.   Details of the fight that is believed to have ultimately killed AJ are sketchy at this time.   All of the Real Housewives of Atlanta with the exception of Sheree attended the funeral. 

Ashley Jewel was thirty four years old and leaves behind six children.    Gone too soon.

What in the world did Dwight have on at the Heal the Soul run?   Dwight wore a black catsuit that stopped at mid thigh and a belly button hole in the stomach, with a beige cap on his head.  WTF?? 

 Nene cheated on her own run and still lost.  All of the housewives with the exception of Kim and Kandi participated.   Kim was not invited and there was no discussion as to why Kandi was not present.

Sheree prepared for her fashion show with the help of Dwight.  Dwight took over and Sheree became a coward and allowed him to do so.   Dwight may know what he is doing, but he goes on and on and on.   He loves the sound of his voice, but I am not sure if he likes the way he looks?  He looks more peculiar every episode.   Sheree is fading off of the show, she may want to find some drama.

Once again Lisa has no story line.  She took a pregnancy test because her cycle had been irregular.   How an irregular cycle  has something in common with pregnancy I don’t know.  A missed cycle may warrant a pregnancy test, but irregular?  Needless to say Lisa spent $13.95 on an early pregnancy test to find out her irregular cycle was not because she was pregnant. 

We saw Kim spending over $600 on clothing for her youngest daughter using her black AMEX card.  Kim said it was hers and not Big Poppas.   It is my understanding a minimum of $250,000 a year has to be spent to acquire that card.   How can Kim spend $25o,00o a year without Big Poppa?  Kim needs to get a grip with reality and keep it real.  I wonder if she returned all of the clothing once the cameras left?

Kandi went to LA to sign with Capital records.   We also see the problem with reality TV.  The earyness of watching a person who is no longer living, having conversations that is new to the viewer.   It appears that Bravo has chosen not to edit the scenes with Ashley “AJ” Jewel and Kandi.   Next week previews show Kandi, her Mother and AJ in family counseling and arguing about their pending marriage.

AJ’s wake was today in Atlanta and filming of the reunion show was to take place yesterday, but was canceled by Bravo.  I cannot imagine Kandi will attend the reunion show, how will they be able to have petty arguments when someone is going through something so tragic.   These women have immeasurable egos, but I don’t think they would attack Kandi when she is going through such a difficult time.

It appear AJ was involved in a fight in the parking lot of a local Atlanta Strip Club Body Tap Friday night.   Essence.com last month reported that AJ had financial interest in an Atlanta (unknown name) Strip club.    It appears the fight involved AJ and Frederick Richardson and there were witnesses to the fight.   Richardson who has now been charged with Voluntary Manslaughter, is currently being treated for his injuries at an Atlanta Hospital and will be taken into custody once he is released from the Hospital.

Sorry to report this, but the AJC.com is reporting that AJ, Kandi’s ex-fiance’ was murder in a strip club in Atlanta.   The family has asked for privacy during this time.

Let’s go back to High School

Let’s all go back to High School were we get upset that someone does not like us and sometimes looks at us funny!   This is Nene’s reasoning to Lisa about the blowup she had with Kandi and in Nene’s mind she feels that Kandi was the one at fault.  Nene feels  that women are intimidated by her because of her big personality.   Doubt it!

The show was light on Sheree.  Sheree goes to New York to examine her samples that are being completed by her seamstress who is located in the big City.   Now why Sheree cannot find a seamstress in a City as large as Atlanta is causing me complete bewilderment.   Sheree seeks the assistance of Dwight in producing the Fashion Show, because her plate is full and she is somewhat overwhelmed.  (Yes, another show with Dwight.  Bravo cannot have a show without Dwight. ) Dwight provided valuable insight, but Dwight is a DIVA.   Dwight does not understand this is Sheree’s show, not Dwight’s.   Dwight is way too much.

Lisa as usual really does not have a story line, she is just involved in everyone elses story.  Lisa was invited to a co-birthday party for Kim and Kandi, given by Kim.  Lisa has chosen not to attend the Birthday Party because of Kim’s involvement.  Of course, she gossips about this to Nene who was not invited to the party.   

Kandi and AJ discussed her upcoming performance at what appears to be the Tavern at Phipps Plaza.   Kandi is discussing being nervous about her upcoming performance in which her album is to be debut.   Kim finishes Tardy for Party (comical) and Kandi invites her to attend her performance at Tongue and Groove.  Kim is so excited and tells Kandi that she will be there to provide support.

Kim debuts Tardy for the Party at her birthday party and also flashes a ginormous Diamond ring that Big Poppa gave her prior to dropping her off at the party.   Kim tells her guest she is engaged, but her fiance did not come into the party.   So is he still married and does not want to be identified?   Who knows.  Kim’s vocabulary is so limited that all she does is curse at everyone including Kandi’s mother.  Bi*** is Kim’s favorite word.  Kim,  by a Thesaurus. 

The day has arrived for Kandi’s party and Kandi looks phenomenal!   Sheree could not attend, but called Kandi to offer her support.  Lisa attended and Kim………………was a no show! Of course Lisa had her opinions on this also and I would have to agree with Lisa.  Without Kandi, Tardy for the Party never would have happened, the least Kim could have done was shown up for Kand’s performance.

Kim’s ego this week maybe in competition with Nene’s.

Dwight was once again on this weeks episode.   I believe Bravo is afraid to have a show without him.  They should call this the Real Housewives of Atlanta and Dwight.

 Why does Kim flaunt Big Poppa?  Didn’t Superhead aka Karrine Steffans have a Big Poppa?    Superheads Big Poppa sounds a lot like Kim’s.  Both married and support there financial habbits, unable to be seen in public with there Big Poppa’s and spends the Holiday’s withouth there Big Poppa’s.   Kim’s former manager was on a local radio station in Atlanta stating Kim was a former stripper at the Cheetah in Atlanta.  If this is true, is this where she met Big Poppa?  Come on really Kim, how can this work?  Would you want this life for your daughters?

It appears Kim gained courage when she hears herself on Tardy for the Party and thinks she sounds pretty good and no longer wants Nene on the song and tells Kandi she does not have to make arrangements with Nene to be placed on the song and she would do it herself.

Speaking of Ego’s, Sheree, Sheree, Sheree.   Her ego is bigger then Georgia and Lawrence her hairstylist feeds it by stating she looks like a hot 18-year-old.   Sheree had a nice turnout for Independence party, but it did not appear to be a party or anything to really celebrate her independence.  What did the female stripper have to do with Sheree and her independence? 

I liked Sheree’s photo, but it may be a little to large for her home, a billboard may be more appropriate.  Lawrence was there to support his girl Sheree with his Blood red fringe shirt, pink leggings and red high heel shoes! 

I have come to the conclusion that Nene had an out of body experience when she began to argue with Kim about her removal from Tardy for the party.  Did Nene really tell Kim she cannot sell the song without her?   I initially thought she was joking, but it became quite obvious she was serious.  Was Nene high or something, because Nene is straight hating!  That green from envy is not flattering on her.  No, tardy for the party will not go far, but it would not have gone great lengths with Nene either. 

I am starting to really like and respect Kandi for trying to stay neutral when necessary and then putting Nene in her place when she deserved to be put in her place.

Dancing with the Stars-The Men get it started

Aaron and Karina.  Aaron doing the Cha Cha reminded me of John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever, but much slower.   The music and movement seemed to be delayed with no excitement.

Chuck and Anna.  Chuck is to large and too awkward to ever be graceful and it was clear he was out of his element, but he gave it his best shot.  It really could have been worse.

Mark and Lacey also did the Cha Cha to Kung Foo Fighting.  This was automatically a hit with me.  Dude moves pretty good.  He throws those hips and is in touch with his feminine side!

Louie and Chelsie.  Louie is a Kid so I cannot dis a kid.  He has this sweet genuine smile like he is really having a good time.   He has the childlike awarkedness about him and it makes everything he does cute.

Michael and Anna.  Mike Irving was awesome on the football field, but his feet don’t seem to work on tghe hardwoods of a dance floor.  He does look like he is having a lot of fun, which is important because a trophy is not in his future.

Ashley’s tall drink of water should be the first one to go home.

Most importantly, why was Jermaine Jackson in the audience?

When we tuned in tonight, AfroBorike was safe which meant Massive Monkees and We are Heroe’s were going to duke it out to move to the finale.  I am not sure how AfroBorike was safe, but I guess that is the power of the vote. 

Both Massive Monkee’s and We are Hero’s brought the Heat.  However, the fire died on Massive Monkees and We are Heros will be participating in the Finale.

Whomever wins next week will represent the First female having the ABDC trophy.  I am all for equality, but let the best team win!

This show is so dull!!!!  A show about a whole hour of nothing!

• Sheree’s workout and bodybuilding fix up matchmaker.
• Kim recording Tardy for the party.
• Lisa talking about her non fashion line.
• When did Nene become a socialite?  What is Nene’s definition of a socialite?  I really wish she stop saying that.

Nene said the Alter ego party was going to have the Who’s who of Atlanta.  Did you recognize anyone besides the RHOA or there husbands?  Kim falls and becomes the center of attention and I believe it was because the party wasn’t ish!   The rented house were the party was held wasn’t ish.  Of course Dwight was there, is anyone surprised?

This show sucks!  Atlanta is much better then this show. There are real people in Atlanta spending real money and these chicks are not invited to these events.

Where is Deshawn Snow?  She is more interesting then this.

Lisa Wu Wu,   Sheree has outdone YOU!!!  She by Sheree showed its Spring 2010 line in New York during fashion week.  No it was not at Bryant Park in a tent, but in Downtown somewhere in New York.  However the line looked wonderful, professional and not completely original, but definitely wearable.

I think every budding Fashionista could find something that would flatter them in her line.   There is one yellow halter coochie cutter dress that was something that Halle Berry would wear on the streets of LA and maybe one of my favorites.

According to multiple internet sources, Nguyen has been sending twitters to Merriman and to a  Mechanical dummy whose twitter account is registered to “breezy” who appears to be Chris Brown, a.k.a Chris Breezy.     Below is a sample of the tweet sent by Nguyen.

I am no fan of Chris Brown, but he has nothing to do with this situation.  Tila is acting like a woman scorned, instead of an injured woman.  Somebody take her phone!  It’s time to move on.

ESSENCE.COM: Speaking of which, inquiring minds want to know what exactly does AJ do for a living?
BURRUSS: AJ over time has done a lot of things, including running this collection agency while we were together and he just recently bought into this strip club.

ESSENCE.COM: Hold up. Did you just say you and AJ are no longer together?
BURRUSS: (Laughs.) We’re on hiatus. He’s a great guy and he’s not the type to sit on his behind like a scrub, so it has nothing to do with that. Yes, he has a lot of children, and yes, I didn’t know about them all at first but I got over it because as long as you handle your responsibility and spend time with your children it’s not an issue for me. Another thing I want to set the record straight on is that AJ was married before. A lot of people make comments like, if he didn’t marry his other children’s mothers then why do you think he’s going to marry you.

ESSENCE.COM: When we spoke before you expressed concern about how a separation might affect your daughter. How is she handling your break?
BURRUSS:Things have changed because not only do I have my daughter living with me but now I am the legal guardian of AJ’s 12-year-old twin daughters because his mother felt the responsibility was too much for her right now and she couldn’t handle it anymore. He would have taken them with him, but they needed a strong female role model and wanted to stay with me. Just because AJ and I are together I have accepted them as my children the same way that my stepfather did me when I was their age and he and my mom separated. He continued do things with me as my father throughout my life.

WTF????  Kandi Girl, what is really going on?  You want that man so bad that you agreed to feed, cloth and educate his kids at your cost?  Counseling on this may be necessary!  Strong black women?  Please.  Let AJ be a strong Black Man and raise his two of six kids.

No charges to be filed against Merriman

Tila Tequila is upset with the San Diego’s District attorneys office claiming Shawn Merriman is a San Diego Charger thus that is more important then what was done to her on September 6.

Tila was out and about showing her bruises to her arm that Merriman allegedly caused to the media.   Bruises are Bruises, but if someone choked you, wouldn’t there be bruises around her neck?

The NY post is reporting that Tequila found Merriman in the bed with two other chicks.  He asked her to join them and she became upset.  If this is true and I was Merriman,  I would assume Tequila would loved to join in based on photos taken of them earlier that evening at a San Diego club.  

Tila’s plea sounds more like a scorned woman, then a victim of domestic abuse.

Fashion, Wigs and Men wearing heals!

 OOOHHHHH did you see those Black Sandals with 4 inch heels that Derrick war to Kim’s home to show the wigs he designed for her!  That B**** was fierce, with two finger snaps and a sway down!   Now he may have represented.  I think Kim maybe onto something with that wig line.  I liked the looks that Derrick had for her business.  Unfortunately,  I agree with Nene, Kim does not appear to be a business woman.  I wonder how long she can keep it afloat if the business goes afloat?

Lisa, Lisa, Lisa.  I think yet another new business may be needed.   I have to agree with Kim and Sheree, you are not that fashionable.  The green dress you wore to the season 2 premiere, was not appropriate.  That big bow on the dress, was a NO NO.  Lisa girl, dump your stylest Tracy Sipp.  He always has you looking tacky and hookerish. 

I am no fan of Sheree’s, but Tracy wanted to start a fight to get on national TV.  Sheree did not bite, but she let him know he was no match for her.  Tracy is way way too old to behave in such a way.  Tracey, ‘t F*** with Sheree!

Dwight took his critique of Lisa’s fashion to the ultimate hateration.  He may have been correct in his assessment, but he did sound a little jealous.   Dwight should have congratulated Lisa at the show for putting together a line and pushing forward.  Dwight is determined to be on every show.   Growing tired of him.  How Dreadful!

Now on to Lisa’s Fashion show, take those two years Sheree took!  Some things were cute, looked poorly made and not very original.  Lisa’s outfit was ugly and wrinkly at the seams.  Sheree was correct about the attendees of the fashion show.  They did not look like buyers of boutiques or department stores with baseball caps and Jeans on!   Sheree was late, she didn’t miss anything.  Childs recital or not, Closet Freak needs to stay in the back of the closet.  The showing of the sketches for She for Sheree looked better than Lisa’s fashion show.  I guess Lisa needs to find another business.

T.O. has been on twitter and is tweeting about the renewal of The T.O. Show for a second season.   I hope they continue to keep it real on the show through out the next season. 

 I doubt if we will see Jessica White on the next season, it appears that Terrell and Jessica White  are no longer an item.   She has been seen on the scene with the recently single Sean Penn.  Oh well,  I am sure Terrell will have a new host of Beauties!

I don’t know who has been advising Kim, but she is shutting it down with the Drama.  The Real Housewives of Atlanta did the Ellen show and Kim reigned supreme.  Kim took jabs at Sheree and pulled Sheree into Kim’s world.  Sheree got got!  In other words, Sheree fell into Kim’s trap.   The entire interview was Kim Zolciak and taking on Sheree.   The other three housewives were silent.  Kim is trying to take the crown from Nene.   Check out the clip at the 1:24 mark.

Also Monday, the owner of a downtown club where Merriman and Tequila attended a party Saturday night said his staff told him Tequila had been drinking and it appeared Merriman had ordered only bottled water.

“I feel sorry for the guy and I think the truth needs to be told,” said James Brennan, who owns Stingaree, one of the city’s top hangouts for celebrities.

Brennan said he normally wouldn’t comment, but felt he should after seeing Tequila’s tweet in which she said she’s allergic to alcohol.

“It sounds like she’s allergic to the truth,” Brennan told The Associated Press.

Brennan said he was not at the club Saturday night, but had spoken with every employee who dealt with Tequila and Merriman. Brennan said he was told she had shots of tequila and drank from a bottle of vodka. Brennan said Tequila requested that his brother, Shane, a manager at Stingaree, have a shot of tequila with her.

“She wasn’t like falling down or anything of that nature, but she was visibly intoxicated,” Brennan said.

In a tweet Sunday, Tequila said: “I am allergic to alcohol. It has been publicly known for years. That is how I got the name Tila “Tequila” cuz the irony. I cant drink.”

Tila’s attorney Alan Gutman, is also talking about the incident and released a statement to TMZ.

Shawne Merriman and his advisors have decided that the best defense is a good offense, attacking Tila Tequila in the press with a lot of calculated spin to cover up his illegal and indefensible actions.

Fortunately, we as a society will not tolerate a 6’4″, 270 pound all-pro NFL linebacker physically assaulting a young lady who is 4’11″ and 93 pounds. It is never justifiable to brutally assault, choke, strike and imprison a woman.

Once the truth is fully revealed, Mr. Merriman’s fantastic story of how he was trying to keep Ms. Tequila safe will be completely discredited.

No one, especially a woman, should ever have to endure what Mr. Merriman did to Tila Tequila

I wonder if Gutman was aware of Tequila’s tweets and the bar owners statement prior to releasing his statement to TMZ?  There is no reports to date that charges have been placed against Merriman.
